Foil-Baked Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 to 4 pound) pot roast
  • 1 envelope Lipton's dry onion soup mix
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Place 30 x 18 inch piece of heavy duty aluminum foil in a 13 x 9 inch glass or metal baking pan; place meat on foil.
  2. Sprinkle soup mix over top of roast and spread with cream of mushroom soup.
  3. Fold foil over meat and seal securely.
  4. Bake at 300 degrees F for 4 hours or at 350 degrees F for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
