Pork Chops in Sour Cream Sauce (T&T)

Yield: 4 to 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 loin pork chops
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Brown pork chops in large skillet. Add 1/2 cup of the water, brown sugar, onion, garlic, ketchup and bouillon cube. Cover, and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes or until tender.
  2. Place chops on serving platter; keep warm.
  3. In small bowl, combine flour and 1/4 cup water; slowly add to cooking liquid, stirring constantly. Cook until thickened.
  4. Stir in sour cream; heat thoroughly. Do not boil.
  5. Serve sauce over chops.
