Chili Mac 'n' Cheese
This is a super recipe for Chili Mac 'n' Cheese. The recipe can easily be halved if you would like to make less.

Ingredients
- 2 cups macaroni, uncooked
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 green bell pepper diced (optional)
- 1/2 yellow onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 small cans diced tomatoes or 2 cans tomato soup
- 1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
- 4 ounces mozzarella or Cheddar cheese, grated
Instructions
- Cook macaroni for about 7 minutes.
- Meanwhile, brown meat, bell pepper (if using) and onion in a large saucepan; drain fat.
- Add garlic, chili powder, salt and pepper. Mix well and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes.
- Add cooked macaroni, tomatoes or tomato soup and kidney beans. Heat thoroughly.
- Just before serving, add the grated cheese. Cover and heat until cheese melts.
