Roquefort Dressing
Ingredients
- 1/4 pound Roquefort or bleu cheese, crumbled
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/8 cup wine vinegar
- Sherry
- Minced onion or onion salt
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Mix first 4 ingredients.
- Add sherry to get the consistency you want (about 1/4 cup is usually satisfactory).
- Add minced onion or onion salt, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Allow to set several hours before using to let it mellow.
