Prattsburg School's Apple Crisp (1968)
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
- 2/3 cup flour
- 2/3 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 3 teaspoons water
- Pare and slice apples into a square greased pan (3/4 full).
- Add lemon juice and water over apples.
- Mix together dry ingredients; cut in butter.
- Sprinkle over apples.
- Bake at 350 degrees F until apples are tender, approximately 30 minutes.
