Puffed Wheat Nibbles
Yield: 2 quarts
Ingredients
- 6 cups Puffed Wheat cereal
- 2 cups unsalted roasted peanuts
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup honey
Instructions
- Heat oven to 275 degrees F.
- Combine cereal, peanuts and sugar in a large bowl.
- Combine butter and honey; pour over cereal mixture, tossing gently. Pour into a lightly greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch jellyroll pan.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, stirring mixture once.
- Let cool in pan, stirring occasionally.
