Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 cup unsalted beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon French's® Classic Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 package McCormick® Sloppy Joes Seasoning Mix
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Brown ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium high heat. Drain fat.
  3. Stir in beef broth, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and Seasoning Mix. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until beef broth is absorbed, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in cream cheese and 1 cup of the shredded cheese.
  5. Spoon into a 2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup shredded cheese.
  6. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Garnish with pickle slices and chopped onions, if desired.
  7. Serve with ruffled potato chips or mini toasts.

Notes

Season ground beef with Sloppy Joes seasoning mix for authentic flavor. Add cream cheese, tomato sauce, onions and Cheddar Jack cheese to beef. Bake until ooey-gooey and garnish with dill pickle slices. Tangy, sweet and savory, it’s best enjoyed loaded on top of potato chips.
