Chocolate Almond Bark

Chocolate Almond Bark recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces dark chocolate chips (we prefer Ghiarardelli)
  • 1/4 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 ounces dry roasted almonds, whole or slightly crushed

Instructions

  1. Microwave chocolate chips and olive oil in a micro-safe bowl on HIGH for 20 seconds; stir, then continue to microwave in 10 second intervals until melted.
  2. Immediately stir in roasted almonds.
  3. Pour the mixture onto a sheet of aluminum foil. Spread the mixture thin into a rectangular shape.
  4. Chill for at least 15 minutes, or until chocolate is set.
  5. Break bark into small pieces.

Notes

Variation: Top with crushed peppermint.
