4 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup cold butter or margarine
1 cup milk
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
4 teaspoons cinnamon
In large bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in 1/4 cup butter until crumbly. Make a well in center. Pour milk in well and stir to form soft dough. Turn onto floured surface. Knead 8-10 times. Roll into rectangle about 1/3-inch thick and 12 inches long (width will vary).
