Herradura Stocking

Tequila Herradura would like to spread its good fortune by sharing its drink of the 2007 season, the Herradura Stocking. This authentic Mexican cocktail combines the season's most celebrated fruit, the pomegranate, with the culture's symbol of good luck, the herradura (the horseshoe). Historically known within Mexican culture as the fruta de la abundancia (fruit of abundance), the pomegranate plays a significant role in most food and drink recipes during the holiday season.

With a quick mix of Herradura Silver and pomegranate juice, adding a little kick to your holiday has never been easier. The Herradura Stocking makes for a simple and delicious addition to any holiday gathering and allows you to spread thoughts of luck, prosperity and abundance to all your friends and loved ones.

1.5 ounces Herradura Silver
3 ounces pomegranate Juice (some are sweeter than
    others so adjust according to taste)
3 pomegranate seeds for garnish

In a shaker with ice, add tequila and pomegranate juice. Shake for 10 seconds. Pour into a chilled martini glass. Add pomegranate seeds for garnish and serve.
