Hot Cranberry Cider
8 cups apple juice
6 cups cranberry juice
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 cinnamon sticks
1 tablespoon whole cloves
Light rum, brandy or bourbon (optional)
In large pot over medium heat, combine juices, sugar, cinnamon sticks and
cloves. Bring to simmer; cook until sugar dissolves, about 10 minutes. Strain.
Serve with cinnamon sticks for stirrers and rum, brandy or bourbon, if desired.
Makes 12 servings.
