Sugar and cinnamon, mixed
Roll out pie dough into a rectangle about 1/8 inch thick. Brush softened butter over entire rectangle. Sprinkle liberally with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Start rolling carefully from long end. Pinch ends to seal. Cut 1/2-inch slices and place cut side down on a cookie sheet.
Bake at 325 degrees F for about 8 minutes or until light golden brown.
