Cottage Cheese Cookies Mix in a Jar recipe

Layer the following in a pint-size jar:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar

Attach the following recipe to a gift tag:

Cottage Cheese Cookies

Cream 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup cottage cheese until thoroughly blended. Gradually add contents of jar and mix well. Form into a loaf. Chill overnight.

Slice thin. Place on slightly oiled baking sheet. Bake in a 400 degree F oven for 10 minutes, or until delicate brown.
