Red, White and Blue Shortcake Ice Cream Sandwiches recipe

1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced
2 cups fresh blueberries
3 tablespoons sugar
10 vanilla miniature ice cream sandwiches
1/2 (8 ounce) container whipped topping, thawed

Combine strawberries and blueberries with sugar; toss. Let stand 10 minutes.

Spoon berry mixture evenly over ice cream sandwiches. Dollop each with whipped topping.

Makes 10 servings.
